Agriculture Budget is an ever-green aspiration of farmers and the dream of nature lovers.
Can you imagine a government invests a total of ₹34,220.65 crores inthe agriculture budget?

This budget is aimed to increase the income of our farmers and promote organic farming.
This year witnessed the very 1st separate agriculture budget. It was presented in TN off course.

Well! Besides allocating the fund, a separate wing has been setup to concentrate on organic farming and the agro-industrial corridor.
It has been proposed to bring prosperity to both farmers and farm laborers in our Cauvery Delta Region.
This wing covers from Trichy to Nagapattinam. It also looks after the Moringa Export Area in Dindigul,
Theni, Tuticorin, Karur, Tirupur, Ariyalur, and Madurai districts.
The plan is named in remembrance of Former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
A scheme to make sure all 12,524 village panchayats remain self-sufficient in farm produces.
For promoting our organic farming a scheme named “Organic Farming Development”
shall be implemented. It will cost around ₹33.03 crores.
Organic Farming inputs are made available in Agriculture Extension Centers.
